Is Your Child Starting School?
Discover the benefits of a French-language Catholic education!
Toronto, January 12, 2015 – The Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud (CSDCCS) is inviting all parents who want to register their child in a French-language Catholic school to the Open House Evenings taking place in all our schools.
Children are also welcome to the Open House Evenings. These events allow parents and future students to meet the team of teachers who will help them throughout their academic journey and to familiarize themselves with the various programs and services offered. Parents of children already attending the schools will also be present to reach out to new families.
CSDCCS’ schools offer an excellence-based education anchored on Christian values, in a nurturing environment, where each student receives an education suited to his needs. “The schools of the Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud have a reputation for the excellent education they offer and for their school climate. To register in a CSDCCS school is to join a large family where all students have their place and are respected for who they are. This nurturing and inclusive environment is a testimony to the long-standing tradition of the Catholic schools who have always been based on creating a school life conducive to learning, where all students feel they are loved, appreciated and respected.” states Melinda Chartrand, CSDCCS President.
“Year after year, CSDCCS schools have stood out thanks to their results on the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) provincial tests. CSDCCS Catholic schools are committed to promoting excellence and offering high quality education to their students in accordance with the skills needed to succeed in the twenty-first century.” mentions Réjean Sirois, CSDCCS Director of Education.
In addition to visiting their new school and meeting the teaching staff, many elementary schools will offer the younger kids and their parents an opportunity to attend a show created especially for the event and to leave with one of the many French books courtesy of Éditions Scholastic.
Attending one of the Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud schools means receiving high quality education in an entirely French environment, which allows students to develop high level and lasting bilingualism. Education is offered in an environment which promotes Christian values such as love, respect for the human person, sharing and mutual co-operation. It’s giving your children a head start and allowing them to reach their full potential.
Parents and the school community are encouraged to visit yourfrenchschool.ca to find the French-language Catholic school near them and to find out the dates of the Open House Evenings. You can also follow us on social media (Facebook / Twitter) and watch our weekly videos created especially for the occasion.
